(More customer reviews)I was a little sceptical at first when I saw this item because I thought it would be made out of some really cheap material and easily breakable. After using it, I realize that my initial assumption was completely wrong.
This product works great! The ice it makes is delicate and snowy and it's so refreshing for a summer treat. The instructions are super easy to follow even though I don't understand Japanese. I think there's something about grinding your own ice that makes it taste so much better. It's really easy to grind up ice with this product and the lever goes around very smoothly. I also don't have to wash this. All I do is make sure it's properly dried off before storing it away. There's nothing complicated with the parts as there is only the body of the ice maker, the ice stabilizer on the inside, the top with the turning handle, and a cup to make ice with.
I highly recommend this product to anyone who wants to make a refreshing kakigori treat. It's fun for the family as my own family has really taken to making ichigo kakigori with this ice maker, especially on sweltering summer days.
