(More customer reviews)This ice machine works great Very loud and not to quick but you can walk away and not stand there pressing the lid. Problem there is a safety latch that is clear plastic that engages the machine to shave the ice. This is very poor quality, I have bought two of these and no matter how careful you are the latch will stick in its safety mechanism and when you turn the lid to unengage this the safety plastic latch breaks. This makes the whole machine unuseable. Without this latch engaged the machine will not turn on. I was able to fix one of them for a 2 week period by using crazy glue on the broken latch. Temporay fix, but then it comes undone and then Bye-Bye ice shaver.
